Woooweee! That is one heck of a product name! Now, regardless of its silly name, this little trinket packs a huge punch. This little robot’s LIDAR technology is a huge help with spot cleaning. I do love this vacuum; although it absolutely has its flaws. However!! We will dive into that later!

What’s in the box?
- The robot vacuum (duh)
- Dust collector/charger
- Two mop cloths
- A mop plate
- The tank for the soap
- A complimentary bottle of floor soap
The Robot Itself
In my testing (Using it around my house), this has proven itself to be the quietest robo-vacuum I’ve ever had. And the battery? Incredible. It lasts near 3 hours on the max suction cycle. I do dislike the amount of effort required to trace the carpets with the Shark app.
The Dust Collector and Charger
This robot takes quite a while to charge from 0-100%, almost 6 hours. Its flaws here are absolutely made up by the brilliant engineering of the dock. Firstly, the dock can be emptied super easily without having to touch the dust in the bin. Also, the dock filters the air coming out of the vacuum, keeping the dust in with a HEPA filter. The dock uses another filter that does need to be cleaned every month, but Shark recommends just rinsing the filter off in the sink, saving you lots of money on filter replacements. (We’re looking at you iRobot!)
The Mop Pads
These mop pads are machine washable and can be velcroed on to the bottom of the robot to mop.
The Mop Plate and Tank
Shark’s water tank for this vacuum absolutely blew me away with how large it is. I don’t have to replace the water mid clean like my previous robot, which was such a drag. If you have carpets in your house, you may start to see a problem. But Shark has you covered where you can draw the carpet on your mapped home with the vacuums LiDAR. Thankfully, it can still vacuum normally when you don’t want to mop. Just pop off the plate on the mop tank and voila! My only problem with it is that you have to clean the mop pad yourself every cycle.
My Verdict
Overall, I give this a solid 4 stars. The battery life is nice, the mop function is cool but less functional. The water tank is giant, and the dust bin is quite large. For 300 bucks, I’ll take it!
Alternatives?
The pricey one – Shark Powerdetect Nevertouch Pro – Sale for $649.99 with original price of $1199.99- I did not test this one yet, however, from my research, it seems to check all of the previous boxes made with the Matrix Plus here. Check it out yourself here! https://amzn.to/3LTZ5BI
